Anyone else agree that Metal Slug X is the best game in the Metal Slug series?

I agree Metal Slug 3 blows every other MS game outta the water.

MSX comes 2nd

I love these all the same, but if I had to rank them:

1. MS3
2. MS
3. MSX
4. MS2

I won't even rank 4 and 5 because I hate them.

Metal Slug 3 is the best by far. I'd place MSX behind it with MS and MS2 coming right behind that.

MSX is my favorite as well. Most people are quick to shout MS3 but I loved some of MSX's more kooky levels.

MSX does have something that MS3 does not, a pure, frentic quality. In terms of how frenzied the action gets on a level by level basis, MSX trumps all the other Slugs. Overall, I gotta give it to MS3 for the win, though, but MSX has its strengths.

How can MS come after MSX but before MS2? MSX is 90% the exact same game as MS2. They should at least be listed together, noting a superior version.

Yeah, I enjoyed the theme in X more so than in 3. X wins.

SNK should've made Metal Slug Collection for Xbox and included every Metal Slug that's been released including X.
