Anyone else driven nuts by uncanny coincidences on a daily basis?

I try to shrug them off as nothing, but sometimes it's difficult... Seriously some totally bizarre the "WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!" kind of coincidences keep happening to me quite regularly... shit like that makes me think more and more that there is something out there or that we really are in The Matrix or something, or maybe it's all The Big Bang's fault... Whatever the reason, it drives me nuts sometimes and makes me shout on top of my lungs "GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

There are billions of opportunities for a coincidence to occur every day; the only strange thing would be if none of them ever came about.

You mean, like you'll have a plate of shrimp for lunch, and then later, somebody will say plate, or shrimp, or plate of shrimp?

This joke pops into my head every time I hear the phrase, "drive me nuts."

Here's one. Does anyone else have streetlights go out as you walk underneath them? I have this happen to me at least 3 times a week, and I don't even go near street lights that often. The first time it happens it's excusable... but after awhile you start to feel like some type of Constantine shit is going on. NOT cool.
 
My most common "coincidence" would involve reading or hearing some archaic word or phrase for the 1st time and then after that, hearing it mentioned everywhere in the span of a day.

Fairly frequently for me - especially in the winter, turning on and/or off. In fact, I remember one time I was walking home with a friend of mine and I was telling him about it because I found it fairly strange. I got to a point in my explanation where I said "and then it FLICK ON" and pointed at a streetlight that had been out for what seemed to us a long long time (like a couple of years). No word of a lie, as soon as I did that, it turned on. That sorta confirmed for me (and him lol) that something strange was going on. Still don't know what it is though - although I think I remember seeing something about this phenomenon on TV.

Miller: A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
