Jeez what's up with em. I think he's lost his edge. Plus it doesn't help that he produced like half the songs. He should leave that stuff to the pros. Bass Brothers were nowhere to be seen on any of the songs.

At least I only paid $10 for it.

I like most of it, my favorites being Yellow Brick Road and Like Toy Soldiers. Lyrics are really good.

I don't really like Ass Like That though, but from the last thread it seems everybody loves that song, heh.

Hmm... This CD has a few good tracks (and one or two very good tracks), but i think i liked Eminem Show better than this.

If only he had some other producers on this damn CD: Hi-Tek, Swizz Beats, Kanye West, Jazzie-Pha, Rick Rubin, Damon Dash... COME ON EM, change up a little!

I agree, Encore sucks. The only songs I like are Never Enough, Rain Main, and Mockingbird. And even those aren't all that good. Never Enough is too short, the lyrics in Rain Man are pretty sub-par (I like the beat), and Mockingbird's chorus is pretty lame. I'd have to say Mockingbird is the overall best song on the album though. The rest is generic crap. I think he's gotten heavily into drugs; in interviews (and this is reflected in the quality of Encore), he seems to be losing it.

I've kinda played through half of it and only "Toy Soldiers" is "Eminem quality" to me so far. I'll listen more on the way to work tomorrow but so far, it's pretty disapponting. Thank goodness I waited till the bonus track version was 9.99 at Best Buy......Wait, fuck that, I still feel ripped off!!! >_<
