Just curious. I've never seen the GC version in a store. Not that I would have bought it, but that in itself is a little odd.

I played the PS2 demo that was on the OPM disc... my hands smelled like poo afterwards.

I won't be touching any Sega games till next generation, and that's from a long time Sega fan. They lost their magic touch, and their games aint the same at all... I am hoping for a great re-bound in next gen machines, especially when they are on the same starting point as other companies.

Nope. I've seen it on the shelf at one of the EB's near me. Doesn't look like the copies they have are going anywhere, either.

Yeah, i played it, and like everyone else, I think it sucks ass! The team that did rentahero mustve created this garbage.

Yeah, the demo was really stinky and had HORRIBLE voice acting. Shit, even the cutscene mocap was bad, all it consisted of was flailing arms with every word.

I still kind of want to play it, just to hear what my favorite VF characters sound like when they speak English. :lol

Astro Boy: Omega Factor ... damn that was a good game.

Anyway, I saw a copy of it in an EB today in TO while I was picking up Wario Ware Touched. I feel bad for anyone that accidently picks it up. On the bright side, it was buried underneath some shit.

Gamestop doesn't even have a new inventory listing for this game. Not in NA. They don't sell it online either.

TToB brought over the OPM demo, so I figured I'd give it a try, see just how awful it was, have a good laugh at Sega's expense.

When I selected the VFQ demo, it immediately hung at a black screen.

I took that as a sign from some higher power and declined to try again.
