You can practically get the 'stay' for free with online buddies ect.

Use coaches / planes instead of rail (plane to Brussels from London costs 1/2 of what Eurostar through channel tunnell does - ridiculious!).

When I saw the topic title, I first thought about actually WALKING through Europe. That I want to do in the future...From Spain to Poland...Oh, and my brother will conquer the westcoast this summer
