My son graduates in 2 days. We did all the paperwork his recruiter sent and be took the like a "pre-ASVAB" and is studying to take it for real next week (then a second time at MEPS they said) His appointment at MEPS is in July.

Hes unsure of what to do tech wise. He wants to do something in the field of being a technician on some type of air vehicle but has also expressed intrest in security forces.
I'm kinda keeping my mouth shut, but I'll be honest...the kid is more book smart then wrench smart..
But hes really opposed to an "office type" field.

So, any Ex or current people with tips, insight etc.. anything I should know or he should know as we go onto this? Any and all info, discussion, opinions etc. are welcome.

I’d say don’t be shy about pointing him in the direction of using his strengths (book smarts). Physical/tactile intelligence is a whole different thing.
