I bought PS4 thumbsticks from Kontrolfreek and received a tracking number for DHL which works only with their website.

It says my package arrived at Des Plaines, IL, US on April 15th with a message reading "Transport to Destination Country". But in their website I am also provided with a USPS tracking number, which is also supposed to work with my local post office.

The only issue is that tracking number results in the following message on the USPS website and there have been no updates since "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified on April 14, 2016 to expect this package for mailing. This message does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Please be advised tracking is not available for this product. Status updates beyond the United States are only available for select countries. For more information, review the list of eligible countries at"

Is this normal or should it have been updated already? I'm assuming the latest message from DHL meant they just delivered the package to USPS and they don't actually know if USPS already processed it, but the fact that there have been no updates from USPS is weird

Sometimes the usps site never updates until the package is at my house. Weird thing is that after this hapoens sometimes it retroactively updates and gives time and location scans from days ago up to delivery?

I just googled the first sentence from the USPS message and it seems a lot of people have been having the same problem and some say similar things (not updating at all etc)
