So I was in the doctors for something else (3 foot penis syndrome) and as a routine they took my BP.
It was 130/80 and basically said it was elevated with a risk of hypertension I, so have to return in a couple week. Someone had an at-home BP monitor so I've been doing it the last three days and it seems that it's my normal at the moment. Stuff:
I'm not obese, I guess I'm like 4/6lbs overweight currently
I'm just over 40
I don't drink alcohol generally
I don't eat lots of salt, my diet is pretty clean whole food with a lack of veg/fruit
I do eat red meat but average per week is low in grams
I exercise quite regularly and strenuously (1hr per day usually, mix of cardio and weights)
Not on any meds, don't want to be on any either
The only action I've taken is to cut out all diet soda and caffeine (from two days ago) to see if that has any affect over the next two weeks.
How concerned should I be here?
