I'm going to my WE7-playin' friend's house and want to get him caught up, but I've been playing 8 so much now I forget what is new gameplay wise. E.g., holding X longer to pass to a farther player (I remember that one at least).

smashing your controller into a billion pieces following another pause when you are trying to do first touch control is now down with a minimal of problems, with it being activated by :

down, down, down, down, down, DOWN, DOWN, SMASH YOU STUPID F*CK BASTARD GAME, DOWN, DOWN, BIN

I discovered to my horror whilst talking to Ravi, Garbs, and a host of other players that the issues i'm having seem to have more to do with MY copy of the game or the PS2 i'm running it off - time to hook the PSx back up i fear....

I have started playing against the computer more often these days. I have to say it just isn't as fun as playing against my friends. Especially at the higher star levels.

I was playing some games of Turkey v. Greece before I played through a World Cup, and it seems the game gets way too damn physical at the high star levels. That is probably realisitc, but it kills the flow of the game when the computer's goons are fouling you every couple of minutes.
