Control Resonant Hinting A Musical Act?

Please no, the Alan Wake 2 one was social media viral bait and should never have been in the game.

You can see all the Remedy tourists ITT, there have been songs and music-based gameplay in their games for quite a few years now.

The one from Control is probably the best one too.

Will gaming be getting more and more musical? Suddenly Aloy starts belting out a song while riding a strider across the plains.
God of War could use more of that Opera singing too.

Hopefully they don't turn this into another fart smelling experience like anal wake 2.

Let kojima do that shit and just make a good control sequel ffs.

Remedy lost the plot and i'm scared for the max payne remakes...

I don't mind music related scenes in games and in something like Death Stranding 2 I enjoyed Rainy's introduction or the 'private show'. Same with going to sing karaoke in Yakuza's.

But the musical bit in Alan Wake 2 was way too much for my cringe meter, hope they don't go the same path by making this live action with weird choreography.

The musical bits in Remedy games are just awesome. "Take Control" in Control ruled, the musical in Alan Wake 2 was incredible, and even the music festival in Alan Wake 1 was super memorable and one of the best part of the game

Honestly, complaining about this is absolutely ridiculous lol.

I remember Alan Wake having a section where the Old Gods of Asgard (Aka Poets of the Fall) played a song on a stage and you had to defend it with Barry.
Then there was the maze in Control. AW2 also had a musical part.
Can't remember Max Payne games having them though.

It's not musical.

It's by the exact same band as the AW2. It's not musica per say, but it is similar, besides the fact that Control has a lot of weird live musical-like stuff, like Dr. Casper stuff. It's not out of the ordinary for the shared universe. In fact it's pretty nice to see.

Eh...it was "wacky" in AW2 but lets not do it again if we dont have to.

People really overplay how "great" that segment was in AW2, I just wanted to skip it cause it was kind of annoying

The Alan Wake 2 song sequence was amazing. People forgot but Control also had something similar

So I'm pretty sure this one will have it as well.

A musical is completely different from the coolest level in the game with a great song to accompany it.

That moment in control was like max payne 3 airport level when the epic music start.

They're pretty much the same except one lacks in that specific scene real people dancing, but you shoot shit and listen to music just the same. It's not like you're actually dancing as you play.

Pretty much the same except all the major differences that make them different, so we agree they are not the same.

GymWolf GymWolf is right though, it's like saying So Far away in RDR1 when reaching mexico is a musical.

when in AW2 it's literally a musical it has live action performances and group songs and people dancing and acting out a stage play.

The control moment really isn't the same as the AW2 moment.
