I need a surround sound system for Xbox and PS2. To go with my new HDTV, Anyone know of a good one to get?

Some people at Fatwallet seem to think this is a decent system at a great price. From the reviews though, you have to do a bit of a tweak to make the subwoofer work right though.

Edit: Yeah, but at the former price, he could have picked up a relatively nice receiver too, and still have good speakers. Unfortunately the price went back up.

I think I need one with dolby digital decoding. I want my Xbox/PS2/cable TV sound to all go through the speakers.

These are just speakers. There's no receiver.

Do a search of "home theater" or "speakers". i think there's been a couple of threads in the past two weeks that'll get you started.

That's pretty much standard. Tho, Dobly can mean 2.1...

You're going to want at least Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS, and Pro Logic II (some PS2 games support).

What's your budget? I'm not an expert with theater speakers, but if the man's got an HDTV, he's probably going to want at least medium end stuff.
