The stuff the play on the Sci-fi Channel, The Learning Channel, and the Discovery Channel is a joke. They do lame stuff like bring "mediums" and "psychics" into houses that walk from room to room saying even lamer stuff like "I sense teh energy!". And they do stuff like add in all these stupid sound effects/music and have all these damn reenactments.

I'm looking for a straight up, no nonsense, no bs, ghost documentary where there aren't any stupid reenactments, and they just show raw footage of unexplained things like objects falling off a table by themselves, shadows when nothing is there, orbs, etc.

There is a show called 'Most Haunted' that matches what you want. Basically they have 4-5 people stay overnight in the 'most haunted places' equipped with only cameras with flash lights. Occassionally they would catch orbs moving in obscure patterns and many freaky noises. Probably the most realistic ghost show I've seen. Although they do have spiritual people along with them claiming to sense energy from time to time. No reenactments. Just raw footage of their stays.

Bah! I don't want some vile reality show! I want a real documentary, preferably on DVD. And I want to hear from people who have degrees in parapsycology and sh*t like that when they discuss the footage!

Not so much compiled into a regular show form, but if you search about the web you can find a number of paranormal investigation groups which will then post oddities online for people to see. http://www.ghostpix.com is one that has plenty of stuff.

They're mainly an Australian supernatural group, they post stories and most of them are bullshit but it's the tour journals that kick arse.
