Anyone loyal to one publisher/developer, through thick and thin?

Not really through thick and thin, but to a degree:

Kojima Productions: except I wont be buying Subsistence, too much milking there.
Square: but after FFX-2 I'm not sure anymore.
Sega and Nintendo: most of the big first party titles.

You can see why.

Nintendo and Square have my sentimental vote. I really miss Game Arts, because I never played a bad game by them.

SEGA when it comes down to arcade game, but overall Surreal Software and Snowblind Studios.

Of that bunch, Snowblind Studios is my babies. I love that dev no matter what.

Nintendo truly has an amazing track record with their software, but they DO foist crap upon us pretty frequently.

Just playing the devil's advocate card here, but what exactly are the frequently released lousy titles of which you speak? I seem to be able to count Nintendo's lousy titles on one hand, so I'm a bit confused whenever someone says something like that.

None really. Though Sega was to some degree, even that was mostly Team Andromeda and Smilebit and not all of Sega, plus pre-RSC Sega Rally.

For a while now, Capcom I guess has come closest to a publisher I stick with, primarily for the likes of RE, DMC, DC, Onimusha, etc. Even then, not all of those have been winners, and they've also apparently been spread among various development teams as well. There does seem to be an overarching style that handles character design pretty well (with a good handle on Western characters especially).

So, not sure who to ultimately give credit to collectively for those Capcom games (it can't all be Shinji Mikami), but they have my attention more than most devs.

Sega. They still managed to release some of the best games this generation even though they were in a slump. I love the fact that they seem to be coming back in a BIG way for the next generation. Seeeeeeegaaaaaaaaa! :D
