I'm looking to sell my old style PS2 (a 5000 series model I believe).
It comes complete with the standard composite AV cable, power adaptor, and a black Dual Shock 2, all in the original box w/ manuals. It also comes with the following:
Monster Cable brand S-Video cables
Network Adaptor (Ethernet/Modem) w/manual + CD (CD is actually sealed in it's plastic)
120 GB Western Digital hard drive
HD Loader
Third-party vertical stand
Sony DVD Remote w/ receiver + manual + CD
The PS2 itself is about a year and a half old and in great condition, the Dual Shock 2 is in very good working condition. No scuffs or marks, or any problems with the controller, but due to the way others put away my stuff when I'm not around (wrap cords around the controller very tightly) the DS2 has developed what I call a "wrinkly cord" effect. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to affect the controller at all.
The HD Loader/WD Hard Drive combo works like a charm. I used it for a solid week, then the PStwo rolled around and I haven't looked back. Before anyone asks, I fully plan on wiping the hard drive of all my games (it's nice and full already anyways) before it is sold, and I will not install any game onto it for you.
I'm looking to sell the whole package for around $200 + shipping, considering that the harddrive + accessories alone would normally cost well over $100. I might be willing to go lower depending on how charitable I'm feeling. In all honesty, I'd like anyone interested to PM me w/ their best offer. Bartering w/ games and assorted trinkets is welcome, but probably won't get you anywhere unless you throw at least some cash in with it. Also feel free to request to purchase only parts of this package if you don't want/need something included. Same goes if you'd really like to purchase one of the above items w/ out the PS2 (HDLoader/Hard Drive combo only comes to mind).
As for my "credentials", I've done about a half-dozen transactions with various forum members (Rummy Bunnz, bobbyconover, Fongul, JackFrost, MrPockets and Soul4ger all come to mind), and I have a pretty decent feedback rating on eBay, considering I've only been buying/selling there for a few months.
Payment is preferred via Paypal, but I'd take a check/money order, although I'd have to wait for the check to clear before shipping. I'm based in the US, but I certainly don't mind shipping out of the country. If for some reason, you need this before the holidays hit, let me know, and I'll make sure to work out shipping details for ya.
I'll be waiting a few days (until Friday 12/17/04 tops), so that anyone who wants to shoot me a message gets a chance. Otherwise, it's going up on eBay in bits and pieces for the feeding frenzy.
