Anyone played OOTP Baseball?

Musashi Wins!

FLAWLESS VICTOLY!
Worthwhile if you're into that sort of thing? Very dry for most people I know, but I was thinking about picking it up, joining a league, etc. Seems like the best respected stat crunch game of it's type. Probably a shot in the dark to hear an impression but thought I would try.

I've been buying OOTP since version 2. It's a good multiplayer game but I haven't even played the single player since 3. There are some bugs but i would reccomend it for a online league.

I played Out of the Park Baseball 4 and 5 pretty extensively, and they get my highest recommendation. I can only imagine that OOTP6 is just as good, if not better. They were well worth the $39.95 a pop. If you're a baseball stat geek/wannabe GM, you will love it.

This game is the best of its type. OOTP6.5 is the latest version...it's an "expansion pack" for OOTP6--I suggest getting OOTP6 and 6.5. I think it will run you $20-$30 total.

The single player is fun, but there like all "franchise mode" games, there aren't enough goals and rewards to make it compelling as a video game. Multiplayer leagues are good, but I like to blow through seasons and do the drafting/trading/free agent thing frequently, as opposed to just messing with lineups and callups from time to time and simulating a season every 2 or 3 months of real time, like most online leagues do.

Wow, more feedback than I expected. I was just reading that you can import any past season and it's players from an online database and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. And it is indeed only $30 for both the 6 version plus the expansion.
