Anyway, I've always found PSM covers to be asthetically pleasing and eye-catching. I think that's the most important thing for a cover to do.

I like PSM's art, but the cover's are just too busy for me. If they got rid of some of that text, they'd be super kicky awesome.

Thanks for that. You know, I was gonna take the high road and avoid making reference to that images obviouis homoerotic connotations, but as one of society's many dregs, you had to bring it up. Again, i say thank you.

Yeah, whatever, you are better than me. Moving on, we can see the artists failings best in this cover (of his many horrible EGM 1998 cover). The artist could have avoided my dregerous remark had he just made a few adjustments to his face. It does bring a whole new concept to the story of Turok, you have to admit. He does it because he fucking loves it. The best kind of soldier.

This is just a good example of differing tastes, really. I could just never get into PSM's covers. Not enough umph, I guess. I'm a little bit country...

If this was an interview, and I was Conan O'Brien, I'd be making a remark right now about how I had no idea how the thread ended up like this; how I was gonna print off a transcript of the events that transpired up to your comments so it could be possible to pinpoint the exact moment this thread went wrong .

The only things I really miss from the old days is the old layout for the review section (you know, with the red number watermarked behind each guy's review), and the Terry Aki import section. But that's more nostalgia than anything, I think.

The large issues were nice and still are nice to pull out and thumb through every so often, but everything changes as time goes on... truth be told, I really wouldn't be as interested in reading 400 pages about current games as I was back in the 16/32-bit era, so the current size is fine by me.
