Anyone see this Elder Scrolls IV:Obvlion shot before?

Plus I love how "It's doable on PCs" is strued as some kind of negative now days. PCs catch up with console VERY quickly. 6 month generation cycles and all.

PCs video cards will pass next gen consoles about a year from now. But the processor/systemRAM speed have a ways to go.

The edition of October of magazine PC Zone reveals in its pages a series of images and information on version PC of the play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, always in preparation in the studios of Bethesda Softworks. In more of its impressive artificial intelligence, the magazine teaches us that more than 200 different keeps will be browsable during the adventure, with each the monsters and creature of strangest. Concerning our hero, Bethesda Softworks specifies that each character will have a series of 21 more or less powerful skills according to the class and of the characteristics of this one. Side of the equipment, the studio of development promises to us the large one with more than 700 different parts, of the helmet to the tunic while passing by our combat weapon. A choice of quality for those wishing to obtain the best possible equipment. Always in preparation in the studios of the firm, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion however is awaited for the end of the year on Xbox 360 and PC.

If I'm reading this right, that means 200 castles (dungeons?) to explore. Hey SteveMeister, whats it saying?

And when it says "700 different parts", I'm assuming its referring to the different pieces of armor available? Its not saying that each character (race) will have different pieces of armor? Though I'd like to see the Argonian's and Kajit wear clothing native to their cultures rather than just wearing the Imperial stuff (or the Dunmer stuff as was the case in Morrowind).

Right, it's like all the various pieces of armor (cuirass, helm, etc.) multiplied by all the various types of armor (iron, steel, etc.)

Hey Steve, you guys ever gonna show screenshots of what is possible with the character creation in the game? If I can't make a female dark elf hottie in the game, I will be dissapointed.

Cool, thanks for your very prompt replies. I really can't wait for this game and I hope it makes release this year. I'll be getting the PC version because I'm definately going to want to play with the TES Construction Set and hopefully make some mods.

At some point. Character appearance is very, very customizable, even with the beast races.

Wow, thats very good to hear (I must not have heard Todd say it at E3) since one of the things that irked me about Morrowind when I recently went back to play it is how the different appearances of the characters in each race were pretty miniscule at best. I really am interested in seeing how the beast races have changed since those two haven't been shown off yet.
