Anyone still watch that little show called Westworld?

Just started season 3, I actually like the breakout into the real world now. There's something that draws me back in, guess it's kinda unique in what it's doing

Really enjoyed the first season, but never went back for some reason.

Didn't they, like, leave the Old West setting behind?

I liked the first season (though I prefer the film) and felt like it wrapped things up pretty well. Further seasons seemed completely unnecessary to me so I haven't watched anything past the first.

Yeah, it still appeared but went more into the Delos park and other worlds. The second season made you work hard before it was pieced together. I guess the payoff at the end came too late after frustration. I still enjoyed it when the kinks were worked out after ep 3/4

Third season has completely broke out into the real world.

I dropped it halfway through the first episode of season 3. Aaron Paul’s annoying ass was the final straw. I cannot stand that fucker in anything I’ve ever seen him in.

So boring. The most boringest show evar.

Evan Rachel Wood is the celebrity woman who most resembles my wife so I like that.

Season 1 was briliant. The other seasons are nowhere as good, but still enjoyable except the last leg of season 3.... that was, eh, bad.

I stopped halfway into S3.
S1 is good.
S2 expanded into other parks but the problem is that the writers tried too hard to outdo S1 in terms of twists so the story became a mess.
I still can't get over the stupidity of the Delos security. Hey, let's charge into a fort without any seige weapons. That'll show them!
S3 takes place in the real world. It's no longer about the parks. It feels like a different show tbh.

i liked season 3 tbh. it was different. it didnt really feel like the same show...but on it own it was enjoyable.

its so weird, i had such a different vision of how this show would play out. there were so many other directions this series could have gone.

I watched about 3 episodes and gave up. I had to keep rewinding to rehear dialogue because I was afraid I'd missed something.

It felt like if I kept going it would be exhausting to understand.

Just finished watching it. Absolutely loved the first two seasons but my God, what were they thinking with the third.

I still enjoyed it but it just feels like a different show. They should have done more to build up the broader world and this new AI villain in the previous episodes instead of suddenly thrusting us into it.

And Aaron Paul, ffs, what a dumb idea casting him as a character so reminiscent of Jesse.

Season 1 was awesome. Just kinda bounced off in season 2. Just got too wrapped up in the "mysteries" instead of just telling a cool story.

Just got too irritated with it all.

What I don't understand, is why move out the park, they had ww2 land and samurai world, why not go to them for season each, on the same timeline

Once it left the park, not really west world anymore

I tried watching season 3, 3 different times. After the first 2 episodes I kept falling asleep.

It just didn't hook me like the first two did.

I liked the premise, and it was very engaging, at first. But by the end of the first season I realized I didn't care about any of these characters. Never really looked back.

S1 was amazing, as were a few episodes in S2. The main problem, IMO, is when you set the precedent that anyone who dies can be brought back.
I’d call it “The Superman Problem.”
By the end of S2, it became obvious that there were no real deaths, and thus, no real consequences.
No real consequences means no reason to watch.

First season was great, season 2 was horrible apart from a couple of great scenes but season 3 is just incredibly boring crap.

Absolutely hated seasons 2 and 3.

I feel like the AI of Dr. Ford in season 2 taunting the Man in Black - was kind of what SW fans wanted Force Ghost Luke to do to Kylo Ren in Episode 8. No fuckin thanks. Leave the internet trolling/meme behavior to the internet. Bad enough when movie/tv show characters literally act like they are on twitter.

I have not watched it seriously since the first season to be honest.

I have tried a few times to watch the second season again, but I usually end up quitting about halfway every time. It's not that it's bad exactly it's just not the show that I enjoyed in the first season anymore. I enjoyed the who is and who isn't when it comes to the people being real or not and I also enjoyed the absolute shit out of Anthony Hopkins character. But the second season just seems like an absolute leap down in quality when it comes to the story as well as the acting.

And the third season honestly feels like the last season of game of thrones in the sense that they are just throwing things around hoping that it sticks rather than having any kind of cohesive story that is loyal to the original feel of the show.

Season 1 was pretty awesome. Season 2 was such a let down that despite finishing the season, never bothered going back.

I'll always remember WestWorld for this scene in particular.
Middle of a gun battle, guy decides to stop shooting thinking he'll get laid and dies.

I didn't like season 3 from the word go. I watched that first episode and lost all interest.

I really liked s1 though, and thought s2 was good even though there were a lot of silly writing decisions during the final act.
