I tried it a while ago, and I've tried the new beta 1218 iirc.

ATI hasn't updated their drivers for the X800's so I couldn't do a bloody thing after I installed the drivers I just got a blank screen.

I tried it for a day, but didnt try much because I was without 64 bit network drivers

I tried it out a while back, but there were no drivers for my MICROSOFT Wireless Adapter. I uninstalled shortly after.

Lemme know if there are drivers for it now, I'd like to give it another go.

I'm posting right now with a X64 install.

Eh, seems the same. Is there supposed to be a dramatic speed increase or is it marginal? Do I have to have 64-bit drivers for every single device? I looked but couldn't find 64-bit drivers for my printer or my Audigy 2. I could use the MB on-board sound though.

Also, every post after the initial post on the forum has the text centered. I just installed this and haven't changed any settings. Very strange. It also won't let me go to the Windows Update site although I suspect it's because it's a beta.

Im hoping ATi releases a update to their current 64bit beta drivers so i can test out the current build on my x800. Also for Creative 64bit drivers go here : http://preview.creativelabs.com./default.aspx


Also forums at http://www.planetamd64.com/ are a good place to search for 64bit drivers.

Funny -- when I tried 64-bit XP, my computer started insisting on being called "Skynet."
