Anyone use Perforce with Visual Studio .Net?

I'm having a slight issue with the integration of Perforce with Visual Studio .Net and was hoping someone here could help. I've got both installed and if I right click on a file in the solution explorer, the only real option related to version control that I have access to is Compare Versions. I don't have check in, check out, or undo check out. If I try to type in a file a window will pop up that says Check Out for Edit but under the name it doesn't list the file. If I do click check out, it does end up being checked out in the perforce application. If I go to File->Source Control, a lot of stuff is greyed out. Does anyone have any idea how to get it properly integrated? At my last job it was completely integrated so I would like to get back to that type of setup if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
