I would like to tidy my pc guts up a lil and came across these companies for cables ,Particulary the 12VHPWR cables. Any good or bad experiences with them.
Cheers

Yeah i've always followed that code unfortunatly Superflower (my psu) does not sell the leads on their own and I'd like an angled lead to be more flush in my case (current one is squished ) but trusting them with my 5090 ooohh scary
The Cablemod stuff has been fine in my experience. They do look pretty nice, though I don't plan to use any of the third party stuff for my next build. I will say, though, their prices went kinda nuts at some point, and I do remember hearing about QC issues starting to pop up a few years back. It's been a while since I've bought anything from them, so maybe I got my stuff before the cheaping out on quality began.
Back in my day we would spend hours separating IDE (PATA if ya nasty)* cables with razer blades...but that was a different time. Now you can just buy fancy "cleaned up" cable solutions.

Damn I was gonna say I use SuperFlower as well and they have the 600W cables both in 8+8 and 9+9.
Part Number: Super Flower SF2PCIE-16P
I dunno about the 88376522978W cables though what does the 5090 need cable wise?
I thought all 40/50 series cards would fit into the 600W budget?

In that case you should also consider upgrading your power supply to a newer on with a native 12vhpwr cable.
I don't see the sense in running something as high end as a 5090 with an older power supply that might end up with you having bigger problems down the road.
There's nothing that's going to limit your exposure to their decision to run all that power through a pin that is only allowed to carry 9 amps in an industrial setting. I usually spec them for stuff like buttons. Never really thought about using them for any of the big motors or pumps. Maybe I'll try it on our next build. Looks a lot like a Molex Mini Fit if you're curious.
All my cables in the computer, is Cablemod cables. Worked flawles since day one, don't have/use 12VHPWR cables though, 2 x 8pin from the PSU to the GPU 12VHPWR splitter.
If the cable and interconnect is done in good quality and the 3rd party cable uses the right pin layout there is no reason whatsoever for it to be worse then the PSU bundled cable.
Used Cablemod on my Full Custom waterblock system when i had a maxed out 2080ti system. 0 Problems.
