They've been rolling this countdown out over the last 2 months or so, so apologies if it's old.

The lack of Futurama, and Arrested Development being so high disturbs me. Your thoughts?

how can the simpsons be the best when it has now produced more poor seasons then great ones.

arrested development, married with children and curb all belong in the top 10.

They have to hold the last ten years against the Simpsons, I'm sorry. It's part of the package now.

By the way there's no way Rosanne is better than I Love Lucy, I could even make a case for I Love Lucy to be top-3.

COME ON!

No AD or The Office UK on Top 5 = FUCK THIS LIST.

America OnLine. Thanks for playing.

EDIT: I'm a huuuuge Office fan, but I think 14 is a bit high for this point in the series. Maybe after another season or two at this level. Same with 30 Rock.

Curb your enthusiasm should be higher. Anyway I tend to prefer British comedies a whole lot more than their American counterparts.

Dude, quit bein an ass. I find lists interesting, and this may surprise you, but AOL as an entity did not create this list. It was probably a single person, or a small group. I posted this so people could see the list and post their thoughts. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by spamming it with worthless posts. You don't like AOL, you think that anything bearing that name is garbage. We get it. Can you give it up now? I'm guessing no.

The Simpsons and Seinfeld should have just tied for first and I'd be more than happy. Those two shows were godly and everything else can just fight among themselves.

Windu

never heard about the cat, apparently
The Simpsons? omg no. It hasn't been good for 10 years. Seinfeld should be number 1, 2 and 3.

My observations:

Arrested Development is WAY too low. Gotta agree with Roseanne being in the top 10. I catch it every so often and I usually find myself cracking up. Same with Friends...although I think that The Office is a lot funnier than Friends. Malcolm in SEVERELY underrated and should at LEAST be in the top 20.

Sol..

I am Wayne Brady.
Mad love for putting raymond at the bottom.

but scrubs behind green acres?

The length of a series has nothing to do with its quality. Well actually it does, because most great comedies know when to stop unlike the generic US comedies that over run this list.

No King of Queens either? Everyone keeps telling me Everyone Loves Raymond is better but I just can't sit comfortably with that. After all King of Queens has a big fat, slightly stupid and selfish guy in it. What's not to like?

Family Guy, AD, Curb, and South Park all should be shifted up a bit in my mind, with AD being shifted up GREATLY ahead of Curb at least. Maybe not South Park simply due to longevity. Simpsons at it's height deserves #1 so if it is simply looking at seasons 3-8 I have no issue. The top 10 is overall VERY SOLID, with one HUGE GIGANTIC exception. What the hell is Friends doing there at #10? Friends very best season isn't even close in quality to the worst seasons of some of the shows around it on the list. I mean I understand people got hooked on the show due to it's proximity to Seinfeld, but at its best it was good without every approaching greatness.

Biggest misses on the list is as mentioned no Futurama, but also a show near and dear to my heart... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!!!!!! Probably the best current comedy on TV.

No __________? Are you kidding me?

I can't believe they chose _______ over ________!

Any list that includes __________ clearly loses the right to ever talk about this subject.

Well, at least they put in ________.
