It's definitely that slow. No tech, no cancels, no wavedash, no hitstun, only one Melee character in the game.

It's all defensive gameplay.

Interesting. Apex is a great tournament to see the FGC, anime, and Smash communities all together at one event. The only event better than Apex is obviously EVO.

In 2011, we left the venue at 2AM and continued to play in random hotel rooms until 5AM.

shit was amazing. people were on the floor in the halls with setups.

The FGC has nothing on the smash community when it comes to dedication. Smash setups before the doors opened at EVO, smash casuals while Smash pools where running, smash setups right outside the door after EVO closed doors. Motherfuckers are crazy.
