April Wrasslin' |OT| The Spirit of the Ultimate Warrior Will Run Forever!

That is copy and pasted from the TNA press release.

Also, his boyhood (?) dream to become the TNA World Heavyweight Championship started 17 years ago, 5 years before TNA even existed.

Nothing's impossible, BIONIC-ARRRMMM!! You're reading it the wrong way.

It's a direct quote. Apparently, Eric Young was just too overwhelmed to speak clearly.

TNA can't even proof read. I don't believe this MAGGLE.

Watching the Warrior doc from the beginning. This is so good. Warrior talking about the old guys telling him to stop running and shaking the ropes. Damn spot protecting politics.

At least they actually put out a formal press release. That release from GFW still had the red squiggles underneath the owner's name.

You're gonna love how emphasized handshakes are in that doc.

No divas match on NXT made me sad, they are usually some of the better matches of the night.

Not liking Charlotte trying to be the leader, Da Boss should have none of that. Sasha is better in the ring and has more character than Charlotte, dammit.

Main event was solid, surprising coming from Brodus. They played up the monster vs the small guy well and the finish was well done. I liked how Neville did not get beat down after the match and was able to stand tall. That is how champs should be booked.

I had to wait over a month for more Aiden English and Big Cass yet I get Mojo almost every week. Thankfully we are saved from any mention of Mojo and his mega push this week.

Nice to see a new tag team although pairing two guys in matching tights and having them smile isnt much. Hopefully they find a gimmick soon.

Ratings are still high over at WrassleGaf, and it's time for another OT2!!! We're still in April and Extreme Rules is coming up on May 4th. We have a new Heyman guy though. Cesaro finally split from The Real Americans and The King of Swing has struck out on his own, with Paul Heyman by his side. Surely he will fare better than Curtis Axel or Ryback.

Elsewhere, Evolution is back.....do we still care about them? Big Dave doesn't seem to.

NXT call ups are happening....Paige won the Divas title, Adam Rose and Bo Dallas are getting on TV and things are happening.....it's the NXT Era folks!!!

Oh, and this happened in TNA:

Seriously...wtf were you thinking guys?

Also, Ring of Honor just announced their first Live PPV event with Best In The World 2014 on June 22nd. This, on top of their New Japan events in May make ROH a must see promotion over the next few months.

This is just a quick and dirty OT2 because there was need for one as OT1 is near death.

On a personal note......

This is my final Wrasslin thread OT. I'm passing the mantle to whomever wants to pick it up. I'm done. I've got other things in my life like touring with a rock band, writing a multi part autobiography. hosting game shows that will flop, being on Dancing With The Stars and hoping into the Podcast game that are taking over my wrasslin time. I might come back a few times in the year when I need some quick cash.....like a Mania payday or something, but expect to see me on a WrassleGaf legends contract soon and I'll be shooting on everyone during my interviews on their documentaries.

Seriously though, this is my last OT. I'm tired of people not being satisfied with the work I do and it's just taking up more of my time than I'm willing to give at this point. I'll still be around.....just don't look for me to do the OT.

Peace out, marks.

826. Roughly 4% or 1/25th of the posts in this 19,500 post thread. That's more posts than the bottom 50% of the posters and ESPN combined!

That's absolutely true though. Though if this leads to a babyface turn for Sasha, which it what it seems like, I'm not sure how her character will transfer over. Being "The Boss" doesn't really work as a face.

I guess I'm just not seeing it or haven't seen enough Sasha matches. Because to me, she's Alicia Fox circa 2010 bad.

Tonights Warrior doc made the entire WWE Network worth it, coupled with stuff like the Daniel Bryan documentary WWE is killing it with real love for wrestling fans

It really was quite a great piece. I was never a Warrior fan, but I was just riveted to every second of the film.

I'd honestly put that right up there with the stuff that ESPN is doing with their documentaries, and ESPN has had years to figure it out and hires some fantastic outside creative talent to produce their shows. Same with the best UFC docs. But for WWE to be doing stuff at this level, so soon, and with their in-house guys? Fantastic. Ridiculous amounts of talent in that video room. Great stuff.

WWE Network is on a roll. As Ric Flair would say, "it's the best thing going to-day." The Daniel Bryan thing hinted at the potential, but this really put it over the top. The Network is not just a great thing for fans, it's already becoming ESSENTIAL. It's only a few weeks in and they are already putting quality original programming like this together? This is how you build a satisfied customer base.

I like to bitch and moan and nitpick WWE as much as anybody, but I'm honestly at a complete loss how to do anything but praise what they are doing on the Network right now. Sometimes, you just have to sit back, pay your money, and be completely satisfied with the product you got in return. And right now, with the Mania stream running as smoothly as it did, with fantastic picture quality, at a price far less than any Mania I'd paid for in recent memory, fun stuff on NXT, shows like Countdown, and stuff like these recent documentaries, they can just have my $9.95/mo for as long as they keep it up.
