Should have known something Sealab related was coming with all the nautical knowledge Archer was spewing, but that went over my head.

For this episode I love everything with Sheryl. The crazy eyes when she heard the John Williams music, the craziness on display when trying to prove she isn't in fact crazy, and the absolutely wild eyed look she had when strangling the pilot in the cockpit.

I went to the one in New York last week (I have a post about it a page or so back). Lucky Yates was hilarious as the MC. Aisha Tyler and H. Jon Benjamin play off each just as well in person as their characters do on the show. If anyone else gets a chance to see one of their live shows, I recommend that you do it.

Also, did it bother anyone else that Archer blended up toothpicks with his Horatio Cornblower?
I can feel the jagged wooden splinters getting caught in my throat, that bugged me for the rest of the episode.

Thought it was great except for Pam's actions.

This one and Legs were two episodes where her character seemed to act, well, out of character.

Though Archer grabbing the epie pen and shouting "She's my patient Lana!" had me in stitches.

Yep. Pam has been pretty good this season, but when she's off she's really off.

I've rewatched all past seasons in recent weeks... Seasons 2 and 3 were very good. I loved 2 when it aired, and love it even more now. 3 I was lukewarm on (except for Heart of Archness and Lo Scandalo, which I loved), but I've gained a new appreciation for it over time. 4 has been patchy. There have been some episodes I really enjoyed, but it's been kind of weak in integrating new jokes, relying too much on callbacks and reused plot devices. Maybe, like with 3, I'll like it more in time. But right now it seems like Archer is in a weird place.

The show has definitely never looked better though. Season 1 is rough in comparison.
