Are night classes better than daytime/morning classes?

I'm starting to make up my schedule for next semester and have plenty of options since I'm registering in the first few days of open registration. SO, my question is... are night classes normally better than daytime or morning classes? I've never taken any class that started after 3PM but it seems like I've been taking the wrong path all along. I mean, if I can take a 6-9pm class instead of 9am-12noon I'll be more awake and I won't have to stay up all night doing my homework (instead I can do it the day of).

Of course this is all in theory so any advice and/or reasons for that advice would really help me out. Thanks!

The only drawback is that if your morning starts early, attending class in the evening can make it seem really long. If that doesn't bother you, it's a nice time to take class. :)

I hate morning classes and I'd likely hate night classes

My ideal time for class is 12ish to 5ish so I can get out before rush hour peaks

Avoid the night and morning. Keep your classes in the late morning and early afternoon. Then you don't have to get up early and you've got your nights free. I'm not sure why anyone would prefer night classes unless they had a real reason, like working during the day or something. Night classes only intrude on your social life.

This man speaks the truth. The sweet-spot schedule is from 11:00-2:30, if you can swing it. That way, there's ample time to do your coursework after you get home and still go out at night; you only need to be in bed by 2:30 AM to still feel rested for class. Not a bad arrangement. Personally, I've never had the luxury, but I see the smiling faces of the students who do. Those faces don't lie. :D

Everyone is different.
I'm more of a night person myself..
...so there's no way I'd wanna waste my nights in a boring class!

I like my classes in the morning going into mid-afternoon. Might as well get it over with early in the day!

Besides, if you take a night class, think of all the prime-time TV you'd be missing!

If I can be in my first class no earlier than 11:00 and out of my last class no later than 3:30 or 4:00, then I consider that a successful job of scheduling on my part. :D

Sleeping in is greater than all, plus you could potentially work a full time job as well. I have taken both morning classes and night classes at the same time. With a 6+ hour break, you can go home and do homework. Usually the later in the day the class is, the less time they meet. My 5 credit Shakespeare class meets only twice a week, and ends at 5:30 pm.
