I just got this game on Sept. 1st. Its my third MMO and I've never seen a game that has more unstable crappy servers than this one. I play on Staghelm, which is supposed to be one of the newest servers and for the last two weeks I get terrible lag that sometimes takes 10-20 seconds to work itself out, constant disconnects, and also random server outages for long periods of time -- like tonight. My server has been down for almost 4 hours now. Its also went down for long stretches every day since last week's patch.
Blizzard's realm status page is the most worthless piece of wasted bandwith I've ever seen. Its never updated and its obviously not tied in to the current realm status as being up or down because it always shows my server as being up, when its obviously down. I guess they have a pet monky in the back room who just pulls a switch when they give him a banana and then he'll update the realm status page.
Has this game always been like this? Hasn't it been out for a year now? The game is pretty damn good, but the servers are a broke dick more often than not, from what I can tell.
