Are there any car deck cd players that support OGG? MP4?

ogg is the only low bitrate solution I appreciate, and when encoded at ~96kbps the quality rivals a 192kbps MP3, IMO. You can get like 20 albums on one disc with ogg, so this of course makes it ideal for encoding your albums for the car.

Anyone know of a deck out there that supports ogg or even mp4? Also, are there any that actually have DVD drives? Not for movies, just data. That would be nice.

I wish I knew how to make custom car stuff and had a background in electronics. I'd just buy a cheap, quiet, slim DVD ROM drive, get a board, program it with some kind of code I'd tinker with, wire everything together, and install it. :lol Sounds crazy, but it would be fun!

You know its in a car, right? So audio fidelity is compromised by default.

Of course, if all your collection is already OGGified, then fair enough.

In answer to your question, I don't know of any head units that play OGG directly - your best bet is probably a head unit with a good aux-in, combined with a separate music player that supports OGG.
