Are there really mountain lions and bobcats in Floridia?

This is what my dad claims. My sister lives there and I've heard her say she's seen snakes and alligators, but I've never heard anything about roaming cats. =/
 
Well I lived in Florida for over a year a few years ago, and let me tell you.. there were none of those things. And since I didn't see any in my backyard, that means there isn't any. PERIOD.

There was a pond behind our apartments though that two gators enjoyed. Yay.

Tell me you aren't that dumb. House cats are in NO WAY the same species. House cats are Felis domesticus, mountain lions are Puma(also sometimes Felis) concolor. They are very discrete species.

When in doubt, reread. There are two ways to interpet what I said, and you picked the wrong one.
