Are you happy with your height?

I never really thought about it until I read some threads regarding height on GAF and I can't stop thinking about it since

I'm 5'11/180 which is totally fine, and I feel tall next to a lot of people, but now whenever I stand next to taller people I feel inferior. The fact I'm a bit shorter than my dad is giving me a complex. Why couldn't I be just a bit taller? 185-190 would've been killer

Yeah I'm happy with my height. I think I am also 5'11". I used to be under the average height but now I'm tall so weird how that works lol.

6 ft here, can't complain.

I feel similar as you OP around tall people, but I wouldn't say inferior or intimidated, but I am taken aback.

Six Four..no complaints..

Sorry, kids.

It's one of those things that I really have no interest in fussing over. If I really feel "too short" I can wear heels (though I hate heels/wedges more than feeling short, so...).

6'3". I think being taller would be nice every so often but it would make some shit that I can easily do now sort of more difficult. Not sure I'd be okay dealing with the hassle.

big news, there's always someone taller than you. I'm 180 too and couldnt give two shits about those longlegs

I'm 1.84m - 6 feet. Happy I'm in the 6 feet for sure. I never noticed how much that matters to girls apparently until I went on Tinder.

Yeah I'm 5'9.75" and I feel fine.

I'm taller than most guys so I don't feel short just average. A girl taller than me is a sight a see maybe twice a year.

A lot of famous and successful people are a lot shorter than you OP. Plus any of the two extremes can be a curse. 5'11" - 6'2" I think is the perfect height for men. You're not short and you're not tall enough to draw attention to yourself. Plus you won't have trouble finding clothing that fits.

I'm 6ft and I've never heard anything but positive things about my height.

At 5ft 5 and a half I would like to declaratively say no. For those who are taller you'd be surprised to see how much less respect you get as a shorter person, especially from women who are taller than you. Even in high school I remember always having to get out of people's way when walking in the hallways. Shoot, even finding clothes that fit can be rough since they only tend to make sizes for dudes who are 5'8''

Now I'm not bitter about my height, it's who I am, but I would love to one day experience maybe through VR how it would be to be tall.

6'3"/190.5 cm and yes I'm happy about my height in some ways, but often find more troubles associated wth my height (back problems, car seats and arm rests being impossible to feel comfortable in). OP I'm sure you've got other traits I'd be happy to have.

I'm 6'5 and have found that height doesn't make any difference.I'm a quiet and reserved person who likes to keep to myself.
tall people don't feel tall because it doesn't happen overnight it's a gradual thing so it's as not if it gives me and disadvantage/advantage.

When I was younger I was very self-conscious of my height (6'5), but I've since grown to embrace it.

So yeah, I'm happy with my height.

Finding cars that I fit in properly though sucks. I usually have to employ the "gangsta lean" and drive from the rear seat.

Yeah being 184 is good, I'm happy that I even grew this tall as I'm the tallest in my family by far.

6 feet 1 inch. Makes a huge difference for sure when it comes to getting dates. I've had a number of girls tell me they would never date a guy under 6 feet tall.

I'm 6'5" and I honestly couldn't be happier. I love being tall. However I sometimes forget how tall I am until I meet the rare person who is taller than me or someone points it out.

I could use a few more inches (giggity). I've run into enough situations in life where the benefits of being just a bit above-average in height were obvious, and I mean purely physical ones, not social.
