Artifical Inteliigence + Game = The real next evolution in gaming!

Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
I think it is safe to say that Graphic upgrades are going to be very subtle going forward. One aspect I was thinking about was the possibility of incorporating AI as sophisticated as say Chat GPT into our games. Most consoles are always connected online so they could just connect to the A.I.. servers through the machine connection to the internet. This could create wonderful and endless possibilities in our games. Think of NPC's in games that actually had more to say then just a few lines, think of the world actualy have real reactions to your actions. An RPG could have endless storylines if done properly. Even outside of story games there are other possibilities. Think of game Simulators with real AI (like a real boss) or Sex games (she can be the nasty kind of girl that you mold) or Quiz games (Never run out of questions) or Sports games (The Ai evolves like a real sports team would forcing you to adjust) or full blown cities like Grand Theft Auto 6 with some or all NPC's being their own individual personalities , the possiblities could go on and on.

This guy actually experimented with a real AI playing Baulders Gate 3 and I found it fascinating and kinda clicked a few bulbs in my head: I loved how the AI decided to be a sadistic fuck but had real stradegy behind every action it took. I can see the future coming and this is going to be cool!

I think there have been a few threads on it here and there -- but yeah, it's coming, and it will eventually change the whole way that we think about characters & story in games.

I can't wait to simply ask a character whatever I want, and have the AI respond intelligently after it is fed a structured list of everything that character currently knows / their hidden agendas or items / etc -- and then, then AI would update those internals (what the character knows, what they want now, etc) based on the conversation as it proceeds.

Imagine being able to simply tell a character something, and if they believe you, shape their next moves or agendas. Or try to get information out of them without using dull pre-scripted dialogue trees.

My wife and I play a lot of detective / mystery games, and those have really stagnated in trying to come up with new systems to keep investigating feeling real rather than a series of scripted motions. AI could brilliantly invigorate that genre.

I know why you are saying that, but if you take a look at some of the crazy detail on regular objects and scenes in AI generated videos.

So perhaps rather than increasing resolution games will just have a lot more fine details in scenes.
