After seeing that thread about Forza Horizon selling 5 million copies on Xbox, I don't think it's sensible for them to not support releases on other consoles but I'm wondering if they can do something else to leverage Xbox being the best place to play 1st party Xbox titles? A little cheaper price point on Xbox? Xbox versions perform the best? Timed console exclusivity on Xbox?

They won't keep multiplayer live service games only on Project Helix. I'd expect an approach like Sony's.

Probably timed exclusivity of some sort.

Also I'm going to make a prediction and say that if they reel back on exclusives, they will push back the next Gears game and make it a launch window title for Helix.

Same with the following:

• The rumored Blizzard game
• State of Decay 3
• Clockwork Revolution
• Next Halo
• Wolfenstein 3
• Id's rumored Quake game
• Elder Scrolls 6 (probably launch year window instead)

Honestly if Fable hadn't already spoiled the fact that they were set to release this year, my guess is that they would have pushed that back to launch window too.

This is what they've lost so far due to cancellations:

• Rare's Everwild
• ZoS's Project Blackbird
• Perfect Dark

So the hope for Xbox here is that they aren't going to wipe the slate clean even more than that, and instead they will utilize some of the above list to make for a good system launch.
