Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022

To the Fans that are delusional, thinking the Switch 2 was better than the Series S. Switch 2 has slight advantages in some areas but severe disadvantages in others. Lets also not forget the Series S is 4 Tflops! I know many Nintendo fanboys will deny this and say something like "chatgpt is flawed" or some shit like that. I got to be honest and find ChatGPT far more intelligent than the average poster here on Neogaf. So lets get to it. I asked the Question and here was the response>

What is more powerful. Switch 2 or Xbox Series S?

The Xbox Series S is more powerful than the Nintendo Switch 2, based on currently known and leaked specs.

Here's a quick comparison using leaked/reported info for the Switch 2 (since it's not officially released yet) and confirmed specs for the Xbox Series S:

Xbox Series S (Released)

  • CPU: 8-core AMD Zen 2 @ 3.6 GHz
  • GPU: 4 TFLOPS RDNA 2
  • RAM: 10 GB GDDR6
  • Storage: 512 GB NVMe SSD
  • Resolution: Up to 1440p, 120 FPS
  • Ray Tracing: Yes

Nintendo Switch 2 (Leaked/Expected)

  • CPU: Custom NVIDIA Tegra (likely based on Ampere architecture)
  • GPU: Estimated 1.5 - 2 TFLOPS (with DLSS support)
  • RAM: 8-12 GB LPDDR5
  • Storage: Likely 256 GB or less (expandable via microSD)
  • Resolution: 1080p handheld, up to 4K docked (with DLSS upscaling)
  • Ray Tracing: Rumored, but limited

So if you're comparing sheer hardware power, Xbox Series S wins — but the Switch 2 may impress visually with smart upscaling and Nintendo's efficient optimization.

Conclusion

  • Raw Power: Xbox Series S is significantly more powerful.
  • Upscaling vs Native Power: Switch 2 may look good thanks to DLSS (AI upscaling), but the Series S still wins in actual performance.
  • Use Case: Switch 2 is focused on portability and hybrid play, while Series S is a compact but full-featured home console.

I am disappointed with the Switch 2, but I do not get your fixation with it. These needless hate threads about hardware that is not yet released make no sense to me. Do not buy it and move on.
