Wouldn't be surprised if Saudi Arabia is paying for this. You may like it or not, but they're doing a lot of different things to promote themselves as a place you should visit. Especially in motorsports, we already have an F1 race, Dakar and a WRC rally all taking place there.

I'll play the DLC if it's good enough, I'm definitely a sucker for Arabian/desert settings.

The only recent AC game that I liked. Mirage was a blast for me, just a really beautiful homage to AC1 and the devs clearly understood what AC used to be. Sure, the story might not be Oscar worthy, but everything else just really sticks. I'm glad *someone* over there at Ubi recognizes the love for Mirage.
Shadows and all the other recent games can fuck off. I hope the devs are able to continue releasing classic AC games like this. Short and sweet.

Enjoyed it a lot more than Shadows so i'm game for this.

Not that Shadows is bad, it's just so average in most ways.

Plus, I much prefer the old-school Ass Creed formula with a shorter mainline story, smaller more detailed map, no RPG elements and no grinding required.

Historical Baghdad is stunningly recreated in Mirage and wash away the brown hell that modern day Baghdad has become.
Free dlc is awesome.
Also the claws of Awaji for Shadows is close to release as well.

There are a few things I didn't like about this game

First, why is Baghdad so clean? Everything is too clean in the city, it doesn't make sense

Second, the cutscenes and facial animations were a fucking joke. Seriously, indie levels of joke

Third, the combat was awful, super repetitive and simplistic

So in my opinion, only a miracle would make me go back to play this mediocre game

Same reason why Division 2 is doing it. And that game is older.
