Atari reveals new handheld called the Gamestation Go

Looks kinda pretty. Not sure about that thumbstick though.
No dual analog? Yikes.
Number dial pad? Will this be a phone as well?
Why is there numeric keys on the right? Is this made for accountants? The orange backlit buttons look nice.

Atari is a company that made arcade games and consoles in the '70s and '80s (plus Lynx and Jaguar in the '90s), which didn't use thumbsticks/dual analogs. It has a trackball, dial and numpad, which stuff some of them did use. I think they did the right thing, since I assume the device will focus on emulated these old games and maybe new versions of them.

Who is this for?
I assume fans of the Atari games.

There was also a Seasame Street numeric keypad and keyboard Controllers; which was used by games like "Basic Programming". The thing about the Star Raiders keypad; Star Raiders was the only game to use it. There was also a Star Raiders 2 in the development that would have used it as well, but that was cancelled.

Oh dont recall ever seeing those (I'm not into retro, I just lived through the atari age up to Atari 520 ST) Thanks for the info.

Just another novelty toy item, Idk what would make anyone think Atari's actually gunning to become a real first party console company, especially since they're just giving their licence to yet another company that is known for selling crap like this already.
