I have the first HD Loader, not this adavnced one I've been reading on. Just curious if this title works or not, googled it and not much came back. Thanks.

Mine says Invalid Disc when I try to install it, so that was why I asked, thanks for the link.

I bought HD Loader a few years ago (dunno what version it is) and it works with Atelier Iris. However, it seems to almost fully break the VA. At the very least, my VA cut offs are significantly worse than what I've read about during normal use. Not one line of VA will complete before cutting off mid-speech.

Err.. yeah thats certainly worse then retail
I could count the number of cutouts on 2 hands in my game

Every line, save for one or two really short ones.

Don't remember if there was an option to disable VA, but if there is and you plan to install it onto the HDD, make use of it.

I stopped playing the game a few hours into it. Too boring.

HDloader only installs single layer games... and GT4 is one of the few dual layered PS2 games...

Although you could try using some programs off the net and installing it to the HD manually via your comp.

But I'm not sure how well that works; if you have a chip, you're definetly boned.

The last resort you can try is downloading a shady version...

those work, quite well I might add...

and yes loading times to improve somewhat.

You can get most DL games to work by patching the ISO. But you would first need to make a iso using the orignal disc.

GT4 patched is very nice and loads easily.

And for those with older HDloaders you can patch it somehow.

EDIT: well then its cut by at least half if not more for me.

i know all about the dvd9 shit, i just want to know how much load time is cut for GT4
