Update:
On March 20, 2025, it was discovered that Atlus had potentially registered a Persona 4 Remake domain name called "P4RE.JP." This domain name has been updated today, on April 21, 2025.
The update to the P4RE website domain is similar to updates for previous Persona domains shortly before their related games were announced: a move to owned nameservers instead of the Onamae (Japanese domain registrar) nameservers for the generic landing page.
The website currently returns an error, being unable to be retrieved on the front-end.

Unlike previous domain updates, however, this one does not feature an indicated address for the domain's host.
Given the trends of Atlus domain names being updated shortly before a reveal, this would normally mean that a Persona 4 remake would be announced imminently. This is contingent on the legitimacy of the actual domain, and whether or not it's an official, Atlus domain name for such a project.

For Persona fans, this might be déjà vu. A new website domain, p4re.jp, was just registered today (March 20, 2025), and it's already fueling speculation that a Persona 4 Remake could be on the way.
This was spotted by Twitter (X) user ScrambledFaz, who pointed out that two years ago, a similar domain, p3re.jp, was registered. Three months later, Atlus officially announced Persona 3 Reload. Now, with p4re.jp popping up, fans are connecting the dots and wondering if history is about to repeat itself.

"p4re.jp was registered a few hours ago," the X post reads. "2 years ago, p3re. jp was registered. 3 months later Persona 3 Reload was revealed."
