Honestly I don't think that's true. According to a whole bunch of normal-ass people I talked to, Ant-Man was one of the most memorable parts of Civil War (which a whole lot people saw). Like yeah he ain't no Iron Man, but he isn't a slouch either, especially given how unknown he was before (to the mainstream).
