I CANT BELIEVE IT. ONE OF THE GREATEST. WRESTLING MATCHES OF ALL TIME HAS JUST TAKEN PLACE HERE AT SUMMERSLAM.

It's true, too - and Vince told Davey Boy and Bret that he didn't want to know the finish or how they do it - he wanted to just call it as he saw it. That's trust.

Amazing match, amazing crowd, amazing everything. Summerslam 92 was incredibly good, and that main event was everything you'd want out of it.

I just post GIF's when none of the shows are on to help keep the thread alive...

And because no one watches the matches that I link.
You link matches? Also who is this?
I dont recognize ANY of those shows. I wonder if people look at Moe like Pg WWE. But hey, still watching wrestling here!
AnimeGAF drowns in that moe and schoolgirl shit.

Cody should be in the main event scene and not del rio for the 124424342th time
They continue to treat Del Rio like some main event jobber, it's no wonder he doesn't get the attention or reaction he should. He beat Orton not long ago, but he hardly gets wins in that caliber. He beats maybe guys like Kofi or Sin Cara, but they won't let him get pinfalls/subs over main event guys period. Sheamus has made both he and Ziggler look like complete fools. I'm sure they'd do the same to Cody.

These two promo packages pretty much show why Cody cut some of the best promo's in 2011 and why his character should have uplifted the IC title and also make him a main eventer also he should have kept the disfigured gimmick

"Intercontinental Champion"

"Destined for Greatness"

...and then it went to "The Mute" Christian and "The Blob" Miz

I said from day 1 that Cody had a GOLDEN gimmick with the disfigured thing, and should've never dropped it. Huge missed opportunity. "Super arrogant guy thinks he's disfigured, so he's wears a transparent protective mask that not only shows his face is fine, but he also cheat with it" is amazing. That's a career making gimmick. He could've added so much to the midcard running with that gimmick against any number of generic babyfaces.

Exactly why should I give a shit about del rip if he keeps loosing to sheamus. I bet del rio wins and ziggler cashed in in him

But Del Rio doesn't even cut promo's. All he does is go to the GM room and go 'WAHHH I HAVE TO WRESTLE?!' then has a match. Literally, it's the same thing every week

Wrestling merchandise? Bean Breath is gonna keel over from shame now Aiii.

And still i'm left wondering what happened to our old WWE shirt wearing friend Khrno, and Bobo for that matter, raw must be that bad these days.

Aiii posted in caps not to judge him, so he at least acknowledges the shame in wearing Pro Wrestling merch.

Funny you should mention Khrno, I've just received the following private message from him, which he has instructed me to relay to Wrasslegaf in full. Here it is:

Having Rock get a title match at the Rumble is just really weird now. Punk's title run at this point should end at WM so the dastardly heel Punk finally gets his on the biggest stage, but now we're in this weird period where the title could possibly change hands multiple times from now til next March.

I genuinely have no idea what is happening with Punk into the future. I thought the road map was all laid out for him to be The Man for a few years, but then he started talking about how soon he would be leaving wrestling and at the same time he regressed into heel mode.

I think that's part of it. Vince isn't deaf - he listens to this, so he's already making adjustments. I think they wanted him to work until he's a gassed out meatbag, but if he has other plans, well, I can see them giving him one memorable run then paring it back.

We'll see.

It's not the Punk gif if he doesn't do the desperate, dumbass hand shake thing 'OH GOD PLEASE SAY SOMETHING AUDIENCE'

Punk knows he'll never be The Man with Cena around in this era, so he's going to retire early.

WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT? Not that fake wrasslin' stuff either.

It's pretty simple. If you rep wrasslegaf, you cut promos. There's only room in my heart for one gaf community group and we're in it, baybaaaay

CM Punk has done more for the future of this industry than Cena has. I hope whatever he chooses to do about his wrestling career he still comes back to work as a commentator.

I know everyone hates the man, but The King of Kings knew he was never going to get over with the fans like Rock, or Stone Cold. So he became a heel. Not just a heel, but a heel that people took seriously. Those don't come around too often. Outside of Vinnie Mac, Trips was the greatest foe Stone Cold/Rock ever had.

I bet Punk thinks similar.

I'm not sure if I agree completely - I think Cena is responsible for helping keep the company afloat due to its missteps outside of wrestling. Think of it like this - Cena merch basically allowed the company to not die thanks to the XFL, thanks to WWE Films, and more. I know the different WWE divisions don't completely hinge on merch sales for one person so to speak, but in the end, all the money gets kicked up to Vince and he decides how to spend it - without Cena being around and a major draw and merch seller for the past almost ten years, well, I think the business as a whole would REALLY be hurting.

Highspots is running an awesome sale with 50 items for 50% off.

http://www.highspots.com/c/50-50.html

Some insane grab bags in there like 10 Pro Wrestling Guerrilla DVDs for $50 or 10 International Wrestling DVD-Rs for $50.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuu...I just spent $90 on MP4's at SMV in their 25% off sale yesterday - too many sales, gotta save my money for the 4 iPPVs this month, but that PWG grab bag is tempting.
