Finally got around to finishing this off. Probably the best adaptation I've ever seen in regards to elevating the source material.

I still think ONE retread a lot of ground with Mob, but I did enjoy it more this time around. Reigen alone is worth it, he's just such a great character.

The action scenes were fantastic, but I still think it's a shame that there's never anything other than one sided beat downs. If they ever adapt any more (which I'd be up for since I never saw anything past this) I hope it has at least one or two more even fights, although they aren't really the focus of the show so it isn't too bad.




Also, listening to you guys talk about LWA is making me doubt myself on if I ever even liked it. The show seemed fine from that trailer, I mean yeah it looks worse but that was to be expected.

...Or maybe I just can't tell yet and will have a similar reaction once it actually airs. I hope not.

Wow that was actually pretty good for a 1st episode, more straightforward than I was expecting. I'll be seeing this show through to the end. Course now I want a bike but alas I am 6'5 and bikes for people my size are insanely priced.

Not as strong as the first episode, but fairly enjoyable. They decided to focus on Izetta this time and she's actually a pretty nice character too, maybe a bit one dimensional on her purpose. The show tries to be serious at times, but it's so over the top that it's funny. The fight at the start was a good example of this.

I didn't expect this to pick up directly after where the last ep left off. Feels like more of the same though. Good action, magic makes a little more sense now, execution still doesn't measure up to intent, and I'm afraid they're going to drive the flashbacks into the ground.

G-Reco Season 2 is finally here!

This was pretty good. Dumb gags going on in the background that have nothing to do with anything else, crazy stuff happening out of nowhere, and then the whole musique scene was just incredible. This has basically delivered on anything I could have asked for from this show.

Another very enjoyable episode . Had a lot of more focus on Izetta and her abilities this time, and the air fight at the beginning was great. The story is also interesting , only wish they would use flashbacks a bit more sparsely .

Out of new shows, Heybot, Nyanbo, Chi's Sweet Adventure, Natsume's Book of Friends S5, Nobunaga no Shinobi, Monster Hunter Stories, and Classicaloid are all worth checking out to see if they appeal to you.

Is this really the same director as Your Lie in April? The art direction is fantastic some of the best I've seen from A-1. You can tell this is the same writer as Steins; Gate by some of the similarities. I was afraid they might go overboard on the fan service from the PVs but it seemed fine. Both OP and the ED and the soundtrack were superb.

I'm on board with this.

Okay, I'm not sure what I just watched, it certainly had a very fast pacing and there were so many characters. I really liked it though. Ryo-tas was fun.

I wonder if this will continue to be that wacky or turn more dark. If the ending is any indication...

Pretty good ED too.

While I think this is visually impressive, I'm not sure about how it captures what I think of when I read 3gatsu. It's an often very sad story, yes, but in a more melancholy fashion than I AM DROWNING IN TREES or whatever.

With that said, this series is going to be very much the victim of my expectations. After Kenichi Kasai/Tatsuyuki Nagai essentially made "perfect" adaptations of Honey and Clover, I was hoping for exactly the same vibe for 3gatsu. I don't see them as massively different in tone - 3gatsu deals in a similar mixture of optimism and bittersweetness - and I was immediately wary when Shaft were announced as the studio behind it.

I suppose I should just, well, watch it...

I'm assuming this is a Masashi Ishihama OP? Although I normally quite like his style, this seems overly busy at first viewing.

Also... that one female character has ridiculous breasts. I can't even describe what a terrible idea that was. Although I suppose it's a talking point...

Wow I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did!

First, the opening and ending are great and I'm not just talking about the music but the video too. The flashy transitions made them really cool looking.

Then we have the episode itself. With this single episode we get what the whole show is about. It has this Durarara-ish multi characters plot lines combine with a very colorful cast. It is super fast paced and it handle this pace really well.

The atmosphere itself felt really nice. While it handles dark themes, it's otherwise colorful/ extravagant artstyle makes for a really good mix.

The characters themselves were super fun to watch and I'm really looking forward to what will happen to each of them.

That ending was really good too! I think I liked this first episode almost as much as the first Haikyu episode. I say as much, but with a little reflection on it, I think I enjoyed it more.

Really fun watch! I was greatly entertained! Also dem titties LOL.

...ok, the English dude got me. I think this'll get stronger as it goes on, although right now it's suffering from being too spread out.

Like, I get that the rich girl is supposed to be tormenting the blonde dude but they really should have taken more time showing that before giving us the backstory. I'm pretty sure most of her screentime at this point has been her actually being kind.

MC seems to be just a normal dude though, which kind of sucks. Was hoping he'd have some personality quirk that'd show up.

it just seems like only really hyped up shows with a fanbase or with an incentive to it stands a chance to get regular posts. Everything else is ignored for the most part.

Still very enjoyable. Princess continues to be great and the fight in the beginning was pretty neat. Liked the subtle hints on how the magic seems to work.
What I didn't like though were the flashbacks, because they didn't really give us any new information. Everything important was already conveyed via Princess and Izettas interactions and the short glimpses.

Just do an OT for show that have good impressions after the first episodes if you want to make them.

Izetta and Occult would be OT worthy.

And yes I know you made an Izetta one already.

Edit: I correct myself you did one for Occult too.
