Max Payne 3 was pretty damn good, all the at-release controversies about its style change withstanding.

Max Payne 1 and 2 are among my favorite games. I used to replay them every winter - maybe I should do it again this year.

Loved everything about it other than not being able to understand what the enemy was saying during shootouts. That was one of my favorite things about Payne, listening to enemy dialogue.
