Avengers IW trailer info

Or from D23 in general. No panels or anything.

IDK I just feel like stuff like this and comic-con are really old fashioned in terms of not releasing things online. We are in 2017, its an online world. Everything shown at any of these should be available a few hours later for streaming, even if you want to put a paywall up

They released a clip of the cast coming out on stage:

No trailer though, not until Thor hits theaters anyway. I wouldn't bet on anything from SDCC either being posted online unless someone leaks something.

I hope they don't fuck it up with constant quips. I enjoy the light hearted nature of the MCU in general but every once in a while it feels a bit too much. There's certain times I want them to push harder into a darker more serious tone. I felt personally they kinda nailed that in the finale for Civil War. That final fight between Tony and Cap and Bucky felt legit serious and there weren't jokes being thrown around.

They don't need to make this overbearingly dark, but I hope they keep an overall serious vibe to it.

Winter Soldier and Civil War have some pretty serious moments. Same directors, so I have faith.

Civil War they weren't really trying to kill each other...Until the end with Tony vs Bucky and Steve, and there were no quips. It was balanced.

Yay someone mentioned quips. I take these people very seriously.

If you are referring to me, and trying to play it off like I'm being negative you'd be hard pressed to find more than a handful of overtly negative comments from me in regards to the MCU in general.

Quips = another word for jokes. English 101

It's the same directors as Civil War and Winter Soldier. I don't know why people are worried.

I'm not worried.

Ya'll really need to chill. One comment about I hope they keep a semi serious tone (in the same post where I praise Civil War for it) and people are getting upset.

You can be a fan, and still have solid reasonable expectations.

People aren't upset. I think people are reasonable sure that this film will be tonally similar to Winter Soldier and Civil War because they are all made by the same team while people are worried that somehow it ends up like a Whedon film for some unexplained reason.

I'm not really squeamish about spoilers but I'm so tired of super hero movies I feel like this will bore me to death unless I don't know major story beats or plot points ahead of time. The cg action in these movies just really doesn't light a fire under my crouch they way it used to. The end battle in WW just had me yawning.

After the Doomsday fight in BvS and then final fight in WW I feel exactly the same way (that WW final fight was one of the worst I've seen) but then I remembered that Marvel (the Russo Brother directed Marvel films in particular) actually have cool choreography and the CGI fights are actually kind of engaging (especially if there is the risk of death to characters - which I'm hoping we will finally get with the battles in Infinity War).

The Winter Solider and Civil War both had good quality fights and the only thing really missing was the sense that the heros could Xie at any point. If there is that sense that almost anyone can die in Infinity War then I'm expecting the action to not only look cool but also feel tense. That first big superhero death is going to be awesome.

Hmm saw a screengrab but not sure if it's a dupe as its a shot of Loki with the Tesseract and my memory of the first Avengers film is foggy.

If legit then maybe somebody did record it.

If his costume is identical to avenger 1 then it's a dupe

That's Chris Evans in Snowpiercer.

See,

No Chris Evans but they had the guy playing Bucky being introduced with the rest of the Avengers crew during their d23 event!

I'm assuming the Wakanda army is there to defend against The Black Order-but in this story why would they be interested in Wakanda?

I would assume they're after Infinity Stones. So unless Vision or Dr. Strange are in Wakanda-there must be one other stone in Wakanda. Which makes me think the Soul Stone could be in Black Panther and not Thor: Ragnarok.

I'm already afraid there's gonna be way too much shit for just one standard-length movie and worried about a rushed Thanos defeat.

we know for a fact its 2 movies tho, the fact they dropped "inifnity war part 2" from the title doesnt change that.

The movies were announced as a two-parter, and I believe it was rumoured that Infinity War will be more of a Thanos character development piece before the major conflict in Part 2.

Oh really? Nice, I honestly thought they changed plans here. Good to hear.
