Coming September 26th to iOS and Android app stores. It'll also be included free for anyone with an Apple Arcade subscription. No word on the standard cost of the app, but I'd guess it'll be the same $15 it is everywhere else.

Great game. I didn't play it after the big patch as I got burnt out playing it for weeks straight. One of my best Steam buys even at regular price!

Game has sold more than 2M units. Has a 90 metacritic score too. Well deserved. A game that looks like could be made on Windows 3.1 with VGA graphics (borderline EGA) put to shame 95% of games out there.

It's a great game for what it is. It takes a long time to get up to gold stake and unlock the good jokers.

I'm currently playing "Peglin" a Peggle RPG roguelite and some of the combinations of relics you get can allow you to murder a boss in 1 turn or some of them can make it so it's impossible for you to do any damage a turn, literally 0 each ball. I get that balance is difficult but Balatro is all about the X multipliers.

They just have to make it like heartstone where you needed a second tap confirmation to chose a card.

Yup. But phones are even more portable.
Otherwise if not portable MKB on pc is best

£9.99 on the IOS store in the UK. I've watched a video and it looks interesting, I will pick it up when it eventually discounts.

Turn on contrast mode in the options
use your discards until you get a playable hand
aim to have at least one chip joker, one + mult joker and one xmult joker. You buy these in the store after beating a round
Make sure your jokers are in the correct order as they score left to right (chips first, + mult second, x mult third)
after buying a couple of jokers, try to save to $25 as you get interest the more money you have banked. Only spend extra money and don't go below $25 unless you think you will lose
profit

You should be able to get past the first boss easily even if you are ignorant of poker rules by forcing flush using discards (5 cards of the same color [suit])

I just read about it being taken off of stores in March. That was some crap -- glad it was resolved. This game is awesome because it has that loot box satisfaction mechanic without you spending any IRL money. It's genius design. Meanwhile actual gambling games that create degenerate gambling addict 8 year olds get ignored.

No idea on sales but it generate a ton of buzz when it released earlier this year. That aside, it's probably my favorite game released this year. The Jokerless challenge did sap my will to live though.

Got this recently on whim, perfect game for the phone.
Yea it does run into some rouge like issues of some jokers being useless, like a rare that resets after a boss whilst an uncommon doesn't(and is easier to activate).
Using the skips to pick up negatives and polychrome is necessary to get anywhere.
