I guess it's like most other music games. Tap a button as icons scroll by on the screen. You can also sing into the microphone to make songs, or so I've heard.

You create a band with other DSs, by each person playing an individual instrument.

According to the specs, an unlimited number of people can participate in a music session together!
There's lots of meh j-pop on here, but there are some classics too. Wouldn't be surprised if they come up with multiple versions of this in the future.

Import. The US version will get a new list of songs, so it's like a semi-sequel.

This looks like one of the best music games in a long, long time. The ability to play any/every instrument in every single song, each with its own difficulty and pattern, just rules. I'm SO importing it this week.

Also, fucking Famicom Mini Medley! :O
