That's a shame.

We can't know how well the former First Lady is doing, but she's the same age as my grandparents when they died from pneumonia. I'm no fan of any of the Bushes, but she did some great work for the cause of education, and held admirable views on abortion and gay rights.

I hope thinks turn out alright.

Damn, not good. Hope she recovers, but at that age I don't know how likely it is she ever gets to go home. My grandfather caught pneumonia and spent the last year (literally a year) in the hospital because the drugs they had to use to kill the pneumonia killed his kidneys. Longer story, but that's the gist.
