Bare Foot Wine

Really down in the dumps. I hardly speak to anyone in real life and worse, I'm so broke I can't afford a chicken sandwich and McDonald's.

Neighbor earlier saw me crying outside and gave me a little bottle of Bare Foot Rose wine.

I never had Bare Foot before afaik but took her offer.

It's really good. At least this flavor is. I drink wine occasionally but rarely do I like the taste but just drink for taste.

It's smooth and actually has good flavor. I'll have to remember this brand and flavor again.

Are there any better than Rose even?

hang in there and do your best, consider employment centers and the like, whatever befits your skill set

i did a bunch of work today pay today in my twenties, can be grueling at times but at least there's cash in your pocket

have you any friends or family to loan until further stims are deposited?

My mom and I love their Riesling. So good! She buys a couple of bottles every time she grocery shops.

I’ve never had their Rose, and I’m no wine connoisseur, but their reds are crap imo. But don’t listen to me, if you like it that’s all that matters.

Already put in at what I can but I have personal life issues going on that makes that more difficult.

Without too much detail, my dad is on in-home hospice and I care for him 95 percrnt of the time.

Bare Foot Wine is made with bare feet. Like this.

Stay strong dude. Are you healthy and mobile? There are many options for employment, but you might have to settle for manual labor to get you over the hump. I understand how it's a lot more difficult in the current situation, however.

Sorry I didn't see second question and no, I don't.

My b-day is around the corner so I might get a small (maybe 50 bucks) check from my uncle but right now I'm just hoping for another stimulus deposit but these bun politicans may never get it passed and are going on vacation again.

The amount of seething hated I have for these people would get me a pernaban here if I spoke my mind.

See my post above before the other regarding that.

There's a couple other issues and I've had to apply for disability.

Aren't there programs that provide aid for family caregivers?
Not that I'm aware but I'm not an "official" caregiver meaning I'm not on a payroll or anything of that sort

He still has a nurse that comes once a week, a CNA that is comes for an hour everyday from Monday through Friday and a couple volunteer girls that come for two hours on Saturday.

Outside of that I take care of him.

I would play flip cup with boons farm. Then just puke up whatever the last flavor was. Does boons farm count as wine?

I don't think you need to be an official caregiver to receive that sort of aid.

I'll talk to his social worker or nurse then next time but I'm pretty sure we've already tried this. It might be different depending on where you live. I'm in Nevada.

I have not had Boons Farms in ages but there's too much carbonation. Bare Foot is eons better from what I'm tasting.

Darkmakaimura Darkmakaimura You should use a staffing agency if you haven't. Don't mess with employment agencies involving the government because the jobs are typically fucking awful and will work you like a dog.

Try to avoid temp jobs and ask for any temp to hire on jobs. If your work behavior is normal then they'll love you and try to find work for you right away. With some jobs that are really good at decent companies.

Sometimes companies don't want to go through the hassle of hiring so they'll use a staffing agency as a temp to hire. So they can find you jobs with companies that aren't even posted anywhere.

You should really lay off the alcohol if your in a bad situation as you say.
Really doesn’t help you in anyway and can actually make you even more depressed, look to better your life not ruin it. Alcohol is a slippery slope.
Sorry to hear about your dad.

Bare Foot wine is a cheap wine found alongside Yellowtail, which is actually pretty good for being around $5 a bottle...

You in a first world country? A bunch of people I know within the EU receive more than a living wage for care in the own family, let me know if you need some pointers.

I did the foot part when i was young, me having a 48 1/2 foot at 14 years old sure helped.
48 1/2? We call that baby caskets here.

I really enjoy their sweet red blend, was a staple of my Friday pizza binges a few years ago.

Stay strong OP, and don't look for a solution to life at the bottom of a bottle (definitely enjoy some wine though!).

Stay strong my friend. Ever forward.

You are caring for a loved one. A job few have the stomach/or ability to do. It's a near thankless task to those around you. But your father is blessed to have you.

You must also think of yourself. You must find time to better you. Sometimes who we are inside is so clogged with depression that hope, and change seem unattainable. So my advise with that is work outside in. Work on your body. Walk. Exercise from home. 50 push ups a day if you are out of shape. Raise it to 100. Help your dad. Push-ups. Wake up Push-ups. Walk in the evening. Make a routine.

Doing those things helped me. Once your outside starts to improve, that will bring some fulfillment and your inner energy will get better. Thise around you will see this. And become attracted to you, sadness does not attract. Same applies when you look at yourself in the mirror. You must attract yourself.

Oh. Wine is awesome. Drink a glass of Merlot a few times a week. Good for you. Just don't add that in until your body and mind improve. Because if not it can make you worse.

God speed.

OP, I wish I could introduce the best cheap wine out there, but it's CA (or Trader Joe's) only, I think.

Presenting - 2 buck Chuck:

(also, hang in there and keep at it, when you eventually get over this hump it's gonna feel great)

Don't become an alcoholic, OP. You can't drink your sorrows away. Be sober and confront your problems in a non-destructive manner.

I mean, if it does it for you go for it. But under zero circumstance would i ever consider that even average wine.

Don’t drink to cover up problems. They will just be there waiting for you.

OP, set up a gofundme page and I will pledge $100 to help support you and your dad.

You've been always honest with us these past few months about your situation and I think it's time to seek out much needed help from GAF and so forth.
I appreciate that and I can use the help but I only have a Paypal and Ko-Fi.

I don't want to post my Paypal publicly though because it's attached to my real name.

Your neighbor saw you crying and that prompted her to give you a bottle of rose?

That's...an interesting response.

Anyway good luck to you and your dad OP

It's housing for adults 55 and over. I'm able to stay here due to caring for my dad. There's a lot older women here, and she walks her little dog while sipping on a glass. I think she takes care of her mother here as well.

It's a very quiet neighborhood which os nice. It's peaceful.

I was at food bank for the first time today.

That was a terrible experience.

6hsjQmb.jpg

For one, they kept moving everyone around in line.

Worse though when I got in to give them my ID, the people working were not wearing masks and no plexiglass and they're sitting about two to three feet from me. Keep in mind this place is teeming with many people living in squalor or flat out homeless.

I had to sign and use a touchscreen. They had no sanitizers and I requested one and he got it out of the cupboard behind him.

All the food was expired. The people were rude and one Karen seemingly wanted to slap my hand away because I took bread from the "wrong" tray.

That place is a fucking nightmare.

I had to throw or give away almost everything as bread was molding and a case of strawberries I picked up leaked all over my bag.
