Hail to the KING baby
My old Filas are falling apart so I need a new pair. Price doesn't really matter, but I prefer Lo's over Mid's over Hi's so I usually have a hard time finding something nice (in a Lo, that is).

I love Nike Shox for basketball, they hug my foot...

yea I like these also, however I've read people have twisted their ankles because of how it hugs your feet. I've had no problems though

i bought last year's Lebron's at a Nike outlet for $40 and im a Nike believer again, after sticking with adidas exclusively for basketball shoes.

i would get the newer Lebron's, but i only use them for ball so i would expect they could last me another year or so.

If price isn't an issue, jump on the new Huarache 2k5's. My brother has a pair and he (and almost everyone else who tries them) swears by them as far as comfort.

Honestly, they're all made by little children in asia.

"AMERICAN! RUSSIAN! ALL MADE IN KOREA!"

And any actual pediatrist or real shoe man will tell you to stay away from Nikes, cheaply and poorly made. Cons are good and bad.

if by Cons you mean converse, they are owned by Nike now.

intangibles, motherfucker
I think that might have to be my next shoe. I was thinking about getting the Adidas T-Mac's since they seem to be cheap right now but i would spend the extra money to grab those.

Edit: Damn Out of stock.

I've had my And1 shoes for about 5 years now and they've been through 3 seasons of community A-League basketball with minimal problems.

They're probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned too. I've never gone back to Nike.

I wore a nice pair of An 1's for a few years. But the last pair I bought started cutting into my ankles. Though its my own fault for not trying them on.

Bah if you're worried about your ankles then just wear braces because a mid or a high top is hardly much help when you roll your ankle.

The only advice I can give someone is DON'T get Nike Shox. They just don't have the lateral support they need to keep you from rolling your ankles. The shox will start to wear down and get softer, therefore your legs will not only be working to help you move around but will be fighting the shoe to keep you from rolling.

I'm really surprised that these shoes haven't been pulled yet.

My recent ankle surgury is proof of what these shoes can cause someone. My warnings come from the doctors that put my ligaments back together. They tell everyone to stay away from those shoes. Might as well be playing in high-heels.
