I'm now ready for Arkham Origins tonight!
I'm in a similar situation, but even fewer people are playing Bioshock 2 after the GFWL removal patch.

No idea about your question, but did you check the Square Enix folder in My Documents?Alright... I have my AC save backed up. But after I beat AA, I uninstalled the game. And now I can't find the save.
Since GfWL will be gone next year, is there some way I can download the GfWL version of AA now? That should retrieve my cloud save from AA, which I can then edit and use in the updated GotY, non-GfWL version, right?

Codemasters is working on updating their games. I won't be keeping an eye on those registry updates, but I'm sure we will keep people clued in.
Hey Grief, you seem pretty clued up on the whole GFWL thing. Has there been anything out of From about removing it from Dark Souls?
So Get Games and Gamefly now working, Still waiting on GFWL and GMG keys.
They doing this for all games? my SF4AE was Amazon bought and it wasn't Steam key..
My Origin key now unlocked the game on Steam (saw some posts on the Steam community). I think they updated their valid keys.
My GMG Arkham City key worked too.
Oh too bad for GFWL duders. D:From Steam forums, it looks like Arkham City retail keys are working, but Arkham Asylum retail keys are not.
This is for GFWL keys that you bought at the store.

Arkham City UK retail regular edition --> Steam GOTY (+ UnusedApp200269)... yay! I wonder if I can copy files from the game disk or GFWL install directory so I can avoid downloading the whole whopping thing.
Thanks, Grief, for keeping track of all this stuff. I've really appreciated this great thread!.
First attempt: Unsuccessful. After initiating the install with Steam it spent a while detecting the files I copied over (just the BmGame directory, to "SteamApps/common/Batman Arkham City GOTY") but, judging by the amount it then wanted to download, none of them were salvageable.I wonder if I can copy files from the game disk or GFWL install directory so I can avoid downloading the whole whopping thing.

I'm going to try once more, this time patching the retail install first, if I can figure out how. I'm not really expecting a different result, though.
Noob question but how do I hook up a 360 or PS3 controller to my mac?
I wanna play me some Batmen.
My Google failed me.
This post is missing the crucial and constructive part.Motionjoy is obsolete. There are better alternate options right now.

What are they? I prefer the 360 controller so haven't really dabbled with a PS3 controller since I got a wireless dongle.

The best and official PS3 driver of neogaf.
not really. Especially considering you have to block your bluetooth dongle just for that.
I use betterds3 http://betterds3.ciebiera.net
works like a charm,
My GFWL retail key finally worked, too!
It also gave me the GOTY edition though, awesome!

AA or AC?
Yeah, sorry. I was leaving for work and I didn't have the time to add links, references and what else. This post is missing the crucial and constructive part.
City,
However i already had Asylum (standard) on Steam and it upgraded that to GOTY, too!
I've got an AA standard edition retail copy at home. I'll give it a whirl in a few hours when I get in if no-one has by that point.
It's not really a new feature, but I can agree more game would need to do it properly.I've been noticing games recently detect whether you are using a M/KB or controller and switch between on the fly. They show the specific prompts and mouse cursor depending on the case.
Very well implemented in Dust:AET, Volgarr the Viking, and Spelunky, all Indie games by the way.
Still comes up as invalid.
