BATMAN BEGINS - THE SCARECROW??

Ahhhh, don't ya love an exciting exclusive! Just moments ago I receieved this image in my email from a scooper claiming to be currently working on an official "Art of..." book for Batman Begins, and the image just happens to be some concept art for the Scarecrow, a character we have yet to see from the new movie. Personally, I think it works! It says Scarecrow to me and looks like it would fit perfectly in to the more realistic, gritty Batman film Chris Nolan is going for this time around. Enjoy!
What do you think? Real deal, or phony as hell? Creepy either way, you ask me. o_O

Cool. I was half expecting them to use a 7 foot ukraine man dressed in a flannel shirt and blue jeans and super glued hay to his face. Bravo

Saw this a few days ago, apparently the film version of Scarecrow will look nothing like this according to a few WW attendees who saw the Scarecrow footage & reported it to BOF. But still, it looks really cool, can't wait to see the real deal.

Batman on Film has two reports regarding this pic:
"BANE FREAK here." In regards to your newest description of Scarecrow that was just posted....it's dead on. I was able to see about 15 minutes of footage a couple of weeks ago, and that's dead on.

I can't say much more than that, except, he is in a burlap sack over his head, wearing a suit & tie (from what I remember), and the fear gas does come out of his hand/wrist...probably from something under his suit.
I am a XXXX for XXXX and was able to attend a BATMAN BEGINS film expo about 2 months ago. We got to see stuff not yet released to the public.

I would like to say this about The Scarecrow pic on your site, it's way off. I have seen the real deal, it looks as if Leatherface made his mask out of burlap material, sewn up Burton-Catwoman-like, with slits for the eyes and a sewn up slit for the mouth. It is very gruesome and dark.
Not really sure whether to believe it or not. Either way, I think it's a cool design.
