No, you'll be locked out again until the release date of the version you pre-ordered.
 
Despite the great inclusion of full controller support with aim assist; I'm upset that they removed joystick support. The game doesn't even recognize my flight stick, despite it still accepting the same control profile copied and pasted from BF4; which means they willingly and deliberately removed it from the game.

Which is baffling.

Also, still lots of bugs, such as Operations not being shown in the server browser, spawning underneath the ground, matchmaking freezing up and the UI not coming up on the main menu, among others.

Since the Infinite warfare beta starts tomorrow, I'll probably play that and save the last 6 hours of my BF1 trail for this weekend. Can't wait to play the full game in the early enlister edition.
 
Does it feel like you die a bit faster than older games?

It seems really difficult to do well. I had a few 450-1000 matches where we just held no points for the last 10 minutes.

I feel that way too..but the whole game feels off to me. I'm not sure if I'll get used to it or if I'll pass on it.
 
The amount of bugs I've hit today is ludicrous.

Current one is a complete black fucking screen when I scope, reset twice now and its still there. Did this shit go through any testing on low settings at all? Seriously 144hz isn't worth the amount of bullshit problems low settings has.
 
I have a question... If I have EA access and the Enlister Edition do I still only get 10 hours of trial?

I also have a question there is no hardcore mode in this game? I can't find it in the server browser settings
 
Just finished the single player missions on an Xbox one S.

The graphics are a lot more crisp than the beta. Game looks fantastic.

Frame rate was fine but I did notice dips once I put the FOV to 90. But that's perfectly fine.

I'll take that 90 FOV with the occasional frame dip than be stuck with console level FOV.
 
The Prologue was so awesome for the campaign, and then all of the tank stuff in the first main guys story was just too much. All of the on foot stuff was great but in the last stretch you have to destroy like 12 tanks in a row and its just annoying by that point.

I enjoyed the actual story though, and the camaraderie of the crew in the tank was nice. Can't wait to see the rest of the stories.
 
Is there a setting to turn aim assist on for pc or it's automatically on when you pug in your controller? Also tried the prologue. Great setup. But then I got glitched in the first story with tank. Subsequently quit. Not sure if I'm gonna play it any more. Story was fine but the gameplay part was just going through the motions.
 
The campaign is so fucking good. Been replaying the missions and doing the challenges/finding field notes all night. Stealth gameplay is so much fun. Atmoshphere is amazing. Game is fucking golden.

Only got less then 60 minutes of my trial left :(

That's exactly what I'm referring to. Awkward to put in words. Never had an issue in the beta and my sensitivity I set in that was higher. They must of made subtle changes to the rifles.

I'd best leave it off then. If you're right means it basically tries to create compensation between hip fire and ADS. Or something like that. I'll leave it off and just practice.
 
Yeah Suez needs work, the rest are so damn good though.

Just went 27k points on the losing side of Shao Fortress. Next person on our team was 18k. Best on the other team was 26k.

I was playing in a random squad and the guy wasn't giving orders so I patiently explained how to do in squad chat... no response. People need to learn how to play this game properly.

Do maps have multiple modes in terms of look? St quentins scar has a daytime version and a nighttime foggy version that looks pretty different.


Game is amazing.

Just played the first mission or so of campaign so far but unmmm... this is pretty fucking great?


The tone they are going with seems perfect. The intro was pretty moving.


Also. This game looks amazing. Running it at native 4K, ultra settings Sans AA. Looks brilliant.

Really hoping the PS4 Pro version holds up relatively well.

Apparently only the Kaiserslecht (or something like that) is available, the other has maps that aren't available.

I've only ever found games for that map as well.

Do we know if hardcore mode is confirmed?

It's the only way I played BF4 and getting used to the ttk in normal isn't happening.

Brilliant game so far though.
 
Suez is complete shit. It's the Metro/Locker of Battlefield 1 and I hope it's quickly culled from conquest map rotations.
